This week for the Edublogs Challenge#6 we had to write about volunteering.I want to volunteer at the”The Food Bank of Monterey County”.They feed the hungry by raising money or getting donations.I think it is important to me because I feel bad for the people who don’t have food to eat.We throw away a lot of  food everyday.I just want help the people who can not help them selves.I would expect nothing in return for helping the hungry.I work for them not me.I can not just walk away from someone in need.You do not have to join a organisation to help.You can just grab some canned food and donate.Visit this link to learn more.Image: ‘the shiners‘

Survey:

Our army was on the way to Athens,but on the way a army of Spartans were right there.I was in the front line.We slashed but they just deflected it with their shields.After 30 minutes many have died.The smell of death filled the air.As we killed some of  their men they still stayed and fought.We took their weapons because ares were no use.No one could push them back.A day and half has passed.We have sent in are immortals.Not even them could beat the Spartans.We can tell they were tired.I was trying my best to defeat the Spartans.

Days have passed of fighting I can taste own blood coming out of  my wounds.A trader from the Greeks came over to tell us how to defeat the Greeks.He told there is a hidden path.We listened to the man because we were desperate.We payed the man and he left.So on the path we saw that they were sending men back home.Only 300 Spartans stayed to fight.We charged them with everything.We got them by surprise.We still couldn’t finish them so we fired arrows.They were dead in seconds.We went on into Athens to burn it.We lost many men just to take over Athens.Image: ‘This is Sparta!‘ 

What I learned in Math is how to find the perimeter of an object.It was super easy and fun to do.I am going to show you the steps.The first step is to measure all sides.Once you have found the measurement of each side you are ready for the next step.The second step is easy all you have to do is add all the measurements.Now just check your work for any mistakes.Just write your answer down and label it.My teacher always says,”No naked numbers”.I find weird and funny at the same time.So if you have questions leave a comment.:)

Dear Mom and Dad,

I wanted to write you a letter  so you can know how I’m doing.I am glad to be living in a oligarchy city-state has made more of a solider.With just a group of people making the laws we have a great military.I  living in a society were I have my toughness put to the test.I have been wiped,pushed,and kicked.I will protect Sparta until I die.I will gain more territory  for Sparta.I will show those Athens whose boss.Sparta has a better military than Athens.They are weak they paint and write all day.Sparta will crush them Athens in battle.

Once I go into battle Sparta will have gained land.I will become victorious in battle and come home alive with blood on my spear.I will not surrender to my enemy.Sparta will win every battle and gain land.If I fall in battle I will know that I have done well to Sparta.Sparta will have been known for its victorious battle.Many of my enemies will die in battle.I will fight for you life’s.I have gotten used to the pain and ignored it.I have learned skills that I did not know.That is all.

In math this week we reviewed so many things sense day one that we have done in class.We reviewed because the benchmark was coming and there is 65 questions!I studied till my brain was tired.It took me three days to finish the test.I was so scared I thought I fail.Then when I got my score I was relieved that did good.It goes to show you if you try hard you can accomplish anything.Take my advice study,listen,and pay attention.One more thing don’t be afraid because it will just distract you.Math is my subject so I had really nothing to fear.  

In this post, I’m pretending that I am 65 years old and giving advice to my middle school self.

I am 65 and I have accomplished most of my goals.I have retired from my dream job.I did not get a job until I was 25 years old.I got all my degrees in high school and college.I did not date or get married.I have been successful in life I had very successful company that I had build up.I have had some bad days and good days.My days have pasted by so fast.A man like me is one of the lucky ones.Everyday I think to myself what I could have done better.

I know I could have done something different with my life.I would regret being alone all by myself all my life.I regret not visiting my family during the holidays because I was so busy with work.I think the only thing right would have to going to the right schools and doing a good job in school.There is nothing I can do now but fix what I could now.I think I could fix many things with life now.I could go visit my family and spend as much time with them as I can.I maybe 65 in counting but in my heart I am a little kid again.
